6. PC connectivity

You can connect the Nokia 7600
imaging phone to a compatible PC
via an infrared or Bluetooth
connection or the USB cable (DKU-2)
supplied with the phone. You can
use the phone with a variety of PC
connectivity and data
communications applications.
You may find more information and
downloadable files on the Nokia
Web site at www.nokia.com.
■ USB port for fast local
connections
The Pop-Port connector at the
bottom of the phone includes a
Universal Serial Bus (USB) port that
allows fast data transfer via the
DKU-2 cable between the phone and
a PC provided with a compatible USB
port.
For the USB connection, you need to
have one of the following operating
systems installed on your PC:
Windows 2000 or Windows XP with
Service Pack 1. Install the USB driver
that came on the CD-ROM supplied
with the phone. For installation
instructions, see the documentation
supplied with the driver.
Exit all the phone functions before
connecting your phone to the PC
with the USB cable.

Important! Do not connect
the USB cable to your PC
before you have installed
the DKU-2 driver from the
CD-ROM that came in the
sales package.

your phone to a compatible PC, see
the documentation provided with
Nokia PC Suite. For information
about using a data communication
application, refer to the
documentation provided with it.
Note that you cannot make a PC
connection during a call in GSM
networks.
For better performance during data
calls, place the phone on a
stationary surface with the keypad
facing downward and do not move
the phone or hold it in your hand.
