Silvercrest SH-100
Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.) on the basis of regular
and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. These guidelines
state the limits for exposure to radio frequency. The limit values
include a safety margin designed to ensure the safety of all
persons regardless of age and health and to take measurement
variations into account. The guidelines use a unit of measurement
known as the SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) to stipulate the
amount of radio waves to which a person is exposed when using a
mobile phone. The indicated SAR value refers to the highest
energy level measured in the laboratory. During normal operation
the SAR value of the mobile phone is typically considerably below
the level indicated. This is due to the fact that during development
of the phone it was ensured that it only uses the minimum level
required to reach the network. If the SAR value is lower than the
limit values stipulated in the guidelines for exposure to radio
frequency, this does not mean that safety is compromised.
