1. Wait a few minutes until the drive light flashes and goes out, then try again.
2. Emergency eject the disc.
3. Open Task Manager and end the task called DRGTODSC.EXE.
4. Shut down.
Your drive showed up in My Computer in Windows 2000 until you added additional software, but is
no longer in My Computer. Possibly your computer will only boot into Safe mode now.
Complete these steps:
1. Uninstall all CD recording related software, including Windows Media Player.
2. Delete the registry value name "LowerFilters" found at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\
CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
3. Restart the system.
4. Delete the registry value name "UpperFilters" found at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\
CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
5. Restart the system.
6. Reinstall your recording software, leaving out Windows Media Player.
