Accessory settings

The accessory settings menu is
shown only if the phone is or has
been connected to an accessory such
as the headsets HDD-1 or HDW-1,
mobile inductive loopset LPS-3 or
car kit CARK112.
Press Menu, select
Accessory
settings. Select Headset,
Handsfree
or Loopset.
• Select
Default profile
the profile you want to be
automatically activated when
you connect the selected
accessory. You can select another
profile while the accessory is
connected.
• Select
Automatic answer
the phone to automatically
answer an incoming call after
five seconds. If the

automatic answer will not be
used.

permanently on, choose On.

GPRS modem settings

GPRS is a technology that allows
mobile phones to be used for
sending and receiving data over the
mobile network. GPRS is a data
bearer that enables wireless access
to data networks such as the
Internet. The applications that use
GPRS are WAP, SMS messaging and
GPRS dial-up (for example, Internet
and e-mail).
You can connect the phone via IR or
Bluetooth to a compatible PC and
use the phone as a modem to enable
GPRS connectivity from the PC.
Press Menu, select
GPRS modem
settings. Select
access point
and activate the access
point you want to use. Select
active access point
access point settings.
• Scroll to
Alias for access point
and press Rename. Key in the
name you would like for the
activated access point and press
OK.
• Scroll to
GPRS access point
press Edit. Key in the Access
Point Name (APN) and press OK.
An Access Point Name is needed
to establish a connection to the
GPRS network. You can obtain
the Access Point Name from your
network operator or service
provider.
