Re-Installation on a Dynamic Disk
When the hard disk drive that has been upgraded to a dynamic disk is used for
re-installation, if there is a partition other than the partition in which the OS is installed,
and you want to keep that partition, note the following:
• As the partition where the OS is to be installed, select the partition where the OS
was installed before.
• For the OS partition format, select "Use the current File System".
Magneto-optical drive
When NTFS is set for the file system with a magneto-optical drive left connected at the
time of installation, file system conversion may not be performed correctly.
If correct file system conversion is not performed, remove the magneto-optical drive, and
perform the installation from the beginning.
DAT and Other Media
During setup, do not set any media such as a DAT that are not required for installation.
