    To operate the USB-based synchronisation with your phone, do as follows. Select Settings > Connectivity > Modem from the main menu of your phone and set the port to Modem via USB Connect the data cable to your Vodafone 830 device.

If asked to restart the PC, select NO. The Vodafone PC Options software supplied on your phone will run automatically.

    There are two methods to access the internet by using the USB cable: use the Vodafone PC Assistant supplied with your Vodafone 830 to load and run the Vodafone Mobile Connect via the phone internet con- nectivity software, or use the Windows operating sys- tem to set the service.
