It is the Owner’s and Dealer’s responsibility to make certain that the Warranty Registration Card is properly ﬁ lled out and mailed to Husqvarna Forest & Garden Company. This card should be mailed within ten (10) days from the date of purchase in order to conﬁ rm the warranty and to facilitate post-sale service.

Record both serial number and date of purchase in space provided above. These accessories were available when this lawn mower was produced. They are not shipped with your mower.

IMPORTANT: This lawn mower is shipped WITHOUT OIL OR GASOLINE in the engine. Your new lawn mower has been as sem bled at the factory with the ex cep tion of those parts left unassembled for shipping purposes. All parts such as nuts, washers, bolts, etc., necessary to com plete the as sem bly have been placed in the parts bag.

BEFORE STARTING ENGINE ADD OIL Your lawnmower is shipped without oil in the engine. For type and grade of oil to use, see “EN GINE” in the Maintenance section of this manual. CAUTION: DO NOT overﬁ ll engine with oil, or it will smoke heavily from the mufﬂ er on startup.
