HDMI Resolution

When you connect the camera to a High Definition (HD) TV with HDMI terminals using an
HDMI cable (sold separately), you can select HDMI Resolution to output images to the TV.

• If you cannot display the screen properly with the [Auto] setting, select [1080i] or [480p/576p] according
to the connected TV.
• When shooting movies in the condition with the camera and a TV connected using an HDMI cable (sold
separately), the image being shot is not displayed in the TV side.

Set the output resolution automatically according to the information
of the connected device.
Outputs with a high definition image quality (HD) (1080i).
Outputs with a standard definition image quality (SD) (480p/576p).
• If the camera is 1080 60i-compatible, video signals are output
using 480p, whereas if it is 1080 50i-compatible, signals are
output using 576p.
