Powering On Using the Main Power Switch

1. Slide the main power switch [page 71, item 8] of the
device into the On position.
2. Analogue to the first-time setup, the manufacturer
logo will appear for a few moments followed by this
message: "For driving safety, do not adjust the
settings or operate this device while driving."
3. Confirm the setting by tapping this button:
4. The main menu will appear.
After you power the device on by using the main power
switch, the user interface language will be the only stored
setting. Any user-defined settings will have been restored to
the factory-default values.

Powering On from Standby Mode

If you powered the device off by pressing the On/Off button
[page 71, item 2] it will be in standby mode. To power it on,
proceed as follows:
1. Press and hold the On/Off button [page 71, item 2]
for approx. four seconds.
2. The main menu will appear on the display.
