    2. Installation and Connections Connecting to a Network (V300X/V260X only) The projector comes standard with a LAN port (RJ-45) which provides a LAN connection using a LAN cable. Using a LAN cable allows you to specify the Network Settings and the Alert Mail Settings for the projector over a LAN. To use a LAN connection, you are required to assign an IP address to the projector on the [PROJECTOR NETWORK SETTINGS] screen of the web browser on your computer.

This feature is called [CARBON METER]. There are two messages: [TOTAL CARBON SAVINGS/TOTAL COST SAVINGS] and [CARBON SAVINGS-SESSION]. You can adjust neutral tint for yellow, cyan or magenta. There are six factory presets optimized for various types of images. You can also use [DETAIL SETTINGS] to set user adjustable settings to customize each gamma or color.

CLOCK ....Use this item to fine tune the computer image or to remove any vertical banding that might appear. This function adjusts the clock frequencies that eliminate the horizontal banding in the image.

It supports data rates from 4800 to 38400 bps. The default is 38400 bps. Select the appropriate baud rate for your equipment to be connected (depending on the equip- ment, a lower baud rate may be recommended for long cable runs).

Never use strong detergents or solvents such as alcohol or thinner.
