    Necessary Settings before Use Be sure to confi gure the following three settings before use. Charging the Battery Pack Close the LCD monitor to turn off the camera. Attach the battery pack. Slide the battery pack down until it locks in place.

    Date/Time Setting Open the LCD monitor to turn on the camera. When [SET DATE/TIME!] appears, select [YES] within 10 seconds. SET DATE/TIME! If you do not select within 10 seconds, the screen disappears. In such case, press and hold the POWER button and turn the camera on again.

This feature is useful to print with a DPOF-compatible printer or take the recording medium to a photo lab for printing.
