Deleting Media From the SDHC Memory Card
Overview
We do not recommend that you delete any video files from the memory card. We
believe that is better to save all the files as method of having archived or backup media.
Should you decide that you need to delete the video files from the memory card follow
the instructions below.
1. With the memory card installed in the camera, turn on the
camera.
2. Go into playback mode by pushing the CAMERA/PLAY button.
3. Using the JOYSTICK, navigate () to the video file you think you wish to
delete.
4. Play the file to be sure it is the one you want to delete by hitting
the START/STOP button.
5. To stop playback and return to the video files window hit the
button labeled W.
6. Push the Function button. It is labeled FUNC.
7. Using the JOYSTICK navigate to the trash can icon and push
in the SET button.
8. Using the JOYSTICK, navigate () to the menu item you
wish to use.
9. Push the SET button and use the JOYSTICK () to select
YES and the push the SET button again.
10. You will get an on screen prompt that the file(s) have been deleted. Push the
SET button again to return the screen with you video files.
11. Hit the FUNC. button to exit the delete file mode.
WARNING: PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN DELETING VIDEO FILES
AS ONCE A FILE IS DELETED, IT CANNOT BE RECOVERED.
