Section 4 - Configuration
To secure your Wi-Fi network manually and/or access advanced settings, you can go to the Wi-Fi
page under Settings. You can configure the settings for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands on this
page. Click Save to store your settings.
Wi-Fi.Network.Name. Enter a custom name for your 2.4 GHz network.
(SSID):
Password: Enter a custom password for your network.
ADVANCED.SETTINGS
Security.Mode:
Select from None or WPA/WPA2-Personal
802.11.Mode: 802.11b.Only - Select only if all of your wireless clients
are 802.11b.
802.11g.Only - Select only if all of your wireless clients
are 802.11g.
802.11n.Only - Select only if all of your wireless clients
are 802.11n.
Mixed.802.11g/b - Select if you are using both 802.11g
and 802.11b wireless clients.
Mixed.802.11n/g - Select if you are using both 802.11n
and 802.11g wireless clients.
Mixed.802.11b/g/n - Select if you are using both 802.11b,
802.11g, and 802.11n wireless clients.
Wi-Fi.Channel: Change the channel setting for the DIR-510L. By default
the channel is set to Auto.
Transmission.Power:
Select from High, Medium, or Low.
Channel.Width: Select between Auto 20/40 MHz or 20 MHz.
