while you're viewing

dots are d eactivated
pixeb and d o not affect the
performance
and reliability
of t he T V.
Generated
Sound
Cracking
noise Acracking
noise that occurs
when
watching
or t urning
off t he T V is generated
by plastic
thermal
contraction
due t otemperature
and humidity.
This noise is common
for p roducts
where thermal
deformation
is required.
Electrical
circuit humming/panel
buzzing
Alow level
noise is generated
from a high-speed
switching
circuit,
which supplies
alarge amount
ofcurrent
tooperate
aproduct.
Itvaries
depending
upon the
product.
This generated
sound
does not affect the
performance
and reliability
of t he product.
Take care not totouch the v entilation
openings.
When watching
the W for a long period,
the
ventilation
openings
may become
hot. This does
not affect the p erformance
ofthe p roduct
or cause
defects
inthe p roduct.
Do not install
this p roduct
on awall ifitcould be
exposed
tooil or o il m ist. This may damage
the
product
and c ause
ittofall.
Ifthe T V feels cold tothe t ouch,
there may be asmall
flicker when itis turned
on. This is normal,
there is
nothing
wrong with T V. Some minute
dot defects
may be visible
on the s creen,
appearing
as tiny r ed,
green,
or b lue spots. However,
they have no adverse
effect on the T V's performance.
Avoid touching
the
LCD screen
or holding
your finger(s)
against
itfor
long periods
of t ime. Doing so may produce
some
temporary
distortion
effects
on the s creen.
Ifafixed image
displays
on the T V screen
for a long
period
oftime, itwill be imprinted
and become
apermanent
disfigurement
on the screen.
This
is image
burn or burn-in
and not covered
by the
warranty.
Ifthe a spect
ratio of t he T V is set to4:3 f or a long
period
oftime, image
burn may occur on the
letterboxed
area ofthe s creen.
Avoid displaying
afixed image
on the T V screen
for
along period
of t ime ( 2 or more hours for L CD, 1
or more hours
for t he Plasma

image
burn.
