Turning your mobile on and off

Ensure that your SIM is in your mobile and the battery is charged.
To turn your mobile on...
On / Off
Press and hold the
power until the screen lights up
To turn your mobile off...
On / Off
Press and hold the
power until the screen turns off.
There may be some delay
while the mobile powers down.
Do not re-power the mobile
during this time.

hold' is equivalent to
a key press time of
approximately 5 seconds.

Setting the time and date

After turning your mobile's power on for the first time, you will be asked to set
your home (local) time.
Press for 5 seconds
Your mobile screen displays:
Do you wish to set the home time?
Press Yes
At enter the date (day / month /
year)
Scroll to and enter the current
time (24 hour clock)
To change the time...
Press
Scroll to and press
Scroll to Date and time and
press
At Set Date and time press
At enter the date (day /
month / year)
Scroll to and enter the
current time (24 hour clock)
Press OK
To show the time
on your screen...
Scroll to Display options
Scroll to Always display clock
Scroll left for On
You need to set the date
and time before you can

use your Calendar and
