MENU FUNCTIONS

Only shortcuts for the menu functions are presented below.
Obviously, you can also use the menu method (press MENU,
scroll the list and enter the desired function by STO).

SETTING THE RINGING VOLUME

The ringing tone sounds when there is an incoming call.
You can select the volume of the tone or switch it off
completely (SILENT SERVICE).
³ Press MENU 6.
· Use v or V to select HIGH, LOW or SILENT
SERVICE in the handportable mode or select volume
levels 1-5 or SILENT SERVICE when using the car
installation kit.
» Press STO.
If you select SILENT SERVICE, the message SILENT is
displayed after a brief delay. This will remind you that the
ringing tone is off. When a call is coming in, a short "beep''
will sound and the display and keypad lights will flash.
(The CALL message will also appear on the display.)
Note: All other tones will also be turned off.

SETTING THE RINGING TYPE

The phone is provided with one standard and four optional
ringing tones. To select a ringing tone:
³ Press MENU 2.
· Select the desired ringing type by v or V.
» Press STO to confirm the setting.

LENGTH OF YOUR CALLS

The phone allows you to check the duration of your calls.
³ Press MENU 3.
· The display will show the duration of your last call in
minutes and seconds (LAST .....:..).
» Press v to display the same information for all the calls
you have made from your own number (OWN). The total
duration is displayed in minutes and seconds.
