A program is tuned when you set its program
type. (Only when receiving the FM broadcast)

Program Type.
2 Scrolls the Program Type list.
3 Searches for the program type.
It is displayed when the Program type is
selected.

Assigns a name to a station.

Frequency Step Setting
(Function of Type X)
Changing the tuning frequency step. The original
setting is FM band 50 kHz, and AM band 9 Hz.

• When the same operation is repeated, the frequency step
returns to the original setting.
• When the frequency step is changed, the frequencies in
the memory are deleted.
Tune in to the station to name
Start Name set
Enter the name
See <Character Entry> (page 43) for
information on how to enter a name.
End Name set
Switch the frequency step
While pressing [NAV] button and [0] button,
press the Reset button.
Release your fingers from the buttons after the
display appears.
The frequency step changes to FM band 200
kHz, and AM band 10 kHz.
