1-7. LCD PANEL, ILLUMINATION MODULE, HL5 BOARD, AND HEAT SINK REMOVAL

Remove Flexible Flat (LVDS) cable and connector assemblies from the LCD panel

Remove 3 screws and release LCD panel from Front Cabinet Assembly (KDL-40XBR9 ONLY)
Remove 5 screws and release LCD panel from Front Cabinet Assembly (KDL-46XBR9 ONLY)
Remove 6 screws and release LCD panel from Front Cabinet Assembly (KDL-52XBR9 ONLY)

Disconnect 1 connector from HL5 Board and release from LED Guide on Front Cabinet Assembly

Disconnect 1 connector from Illumination Module and remove from Front Cabinet Assembly
5
Remove 4 screws and detach 2 Heat Sinks from LCD Panel
CAUTION: The Heat Sink, Radiation Sheet, and Insulating Sheets are not included with the LCD Panel and
must be replaced when replacing the LCD panel.
