    Configuring the Switch This chapter is a guide for using the console Switch Setup screen to quickly assign an IP (Internet Protocol) address and subnet mask to the switch, set a Manager password, and, optionally, configure other basic features. For more information on using the switch console and the other switch management interfaces: the web browser interface, please see the Manage- ment and Configuration Guide, which is available on the ProCurve Networking Web site, www.procurve.com.

You can perform more in-depth troubleshooting on the Series 2510 Switch using the software tools available with the switch, including the full-featured console interface, the built-in web browser interface.
