WARNING! Never use a machine that has

faulty safety equipment! If your machine
fails any of these checks contact your
service agent to get it repaired.
This section descr ibes the machine´s safety equipment, its
purpose, and how checks and maintenance should be carried
out to ensure that it operates correctly.
P ower button (ON/OFF)
The po wer switch button should be used to start and stop the
feed unit.
Chec king the power button (ON/OFF)
• Push the power button. The LED lights up, indicating that
the feed unit is running.
• Press the power switch button to stop the feed unit.
A defective power button should be replaced by an authorized
service workshop.
Emergency stop
The emergency stop is used to quickly switch off the feed unit
and the drill motor.
Testing the emergency stop
• Assemble the drill motor and the feed unit on the stand.
See instructions in the section "Assembling and
adjustments".
• Connect the drill motor to the feed unit.
• Start the feed unit and the drill motor. See instructions in
the section "Operation".
• Press the emergency stop and check that the feed unit
and the drill motor stops.
• Disengage Emergency Stop button (twist clockwise).
