Cinema auto
1. Press MENU button and ON-SCREEN MENU will appear.
2. Press ed buttons to select "Picture setup" menu, and press OK button. "Picture setup" menu will
appear.
3. Press ed buttons to select "Cinema auto" menu, and press OK button. "Cinema auto" menu will
appear. Setup the item by pressing 7 8 buttons.
Cinema auto
This functions automatically detects the
telecine-processed* signal, and converts it to
an progressive signal. So you can enjoy the
image in near original quality.
*telecine process
Convert film to video. Film is shot at 24 frames
per second, while conventional video displays
30 frames per second. To make up for this
difference in timing, the telecine process forces
every other film frame to be given one
additional video field.
