4.2 Disassembly Procedures

This section describes the disassembly and removal procedures for each
major component of the scanner.

4.2.1 Carriage Lock Release

1. Disconnect the power cable from the scanner.
2. Make sure the carriage lock at the rear of the scanner is in the released
position.
