Section 3 - Configuration
The Network Access - NFS settings allow you to assign network
addresses access rights to specific folders or volumes.
NFS Settings:
Choose whether or not to enable or disable NFS
(Network File System).
Type:
Choose whether or not to use access via SMB
(Samba) or NFS (Network File System).
Host:
Enter the NFS host IP address or name. This is
the IP address of the computer that you are giving
NFS access.
Folder:
Browse and select the folder or directory you are
controlling access to.
Permission:
Set the user or group permission to Read Only or
Read/Write.
Root Squash:
The user can use the root option to access the NAS
which will open up the access rights to nobody.
NFS Access List:
Lists all NFS access rules.
Note: To allow access to anyone on the network, enter the IP address 192.168.0.0/24 where 192.168.0.0 is the IP subnet of your
network.
