Adjusting the delay
between the picture and
sound
(A/V SYNC)
When the sound does not match the
pictures on the TV screen, you can adjust
the delay between the picture and sound for
the following functions.
The setting method differs depending on
the function.
When the "HDMI1", "HDMI2"
or "USB" function is
selected

Press OPTIONS.
The option menu appears on the TV
screen.

Press V/v to select [A/V SYNC],
then press

Press B/b to adjust the delay,
then press
You can adjust from 0 ms to 300 ms in
25 ms increments.
When the "TV" and "COAX"
function is selected

Press OPTIONS.
"AV.SYNC" appears in the front panel
display.

Sound Adjustment

Enjoying Multiplex
Broadcast Sound

(DUAL MONO)

You can enjoy multiplex broadcast sound
when the system receives or plays a Dolby
Digital multiplex broadcast signal.
Note
To receive a Dolby Digital signal, you need to
connect a TV or other equipment to the DIGITAL
AUDIO IN (TV OPTICAL or SAT/CABLE
COAXIAL) jack with a optical or coaxial digital
cord (pages 17, 18).
If your TV's HDMI IN jack is compatible with
the Audio Return Channel function (pages 17,
41), you can receive a Dolby Digital signal via an
HDMI cable.
Press AUDIO repeatedly until the
signal you want appears in the front
panel display.
• "MAIN": Sound of the main language
will be output.
• "SUB": Sound of the sub language will
be output.
• "MN/SUB": Mixed sound of both the
main and sub languages will be output.
