Instructions
This highly sensitive microphone is for use with camcorders equipped with a mini Advanced Shoe.
It can be used as a directional microphone (monaural) or a stereo microphone that clearly picks up
sounds from the front of the microphone, for full recorded sound. Not all camcorders support audio
dubbing with an external microphone. Should this be qualified? Do ALL camcorders that have
akushuu automatically support afreko?
Preparations
• Make sure that nothing is connected to the camcorder's microphone terminal.
• Turn the camcorder's power off before attaching/removing the microphone.
• To reduce noise caused by the wind or the operator's breathing, we recommend attaching the
wind shield (fig. 1). This will not reduce sound quality.
• If you are using headphones to monitor sound, confirm the sound with the headphones before
you start recording.
