  • Page 3 • Do not insert the wireless LAN card into your computer until instructed to do so in this guide. • Note that the Nokia C110/C111 software requires 10 MB of free disk space. • For detailed information on operating the Nokia C110/C111, please refer to the User’s guide.
  • Page 4 Select the language for the CD-ROM and read through and accept the Nokia license agreement. If you do not accept the license agreement, you cannot use the CD-ROM. From the CD-ROM menu, select Installing Nokia C110/C111 and click Install.
  • Page 5 LAN card into your computer and switch on the computer, then wait until the small Nokia C110/C111 icon appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. After that you can type your username and password.
  • Page 6 Apply. If you do not have the TCP/IP protocol installed in Windows 95, install it after you have installed the Nokia C110/C111. The TCP/IP protocol enables you to connect to the Internet. For the latest product information, please see the readme.txt file on the CD- ROM.
  • Page 7 The Network dialog box opens. Click Add, and then click Have Disk. Type C:\C110INF in the text box and click OK. Select Nokia C110/C111 Wireless LAN Card from the list and click OK. In the Nokia C110/C111 Wireless LAN Card Properties dialog box, set the I/O Base Address and the Interrupt, then click OK.

  • Page 9 Uninstalling • Close all dialog boxes in the user interface before uninstalling the Nokia C110/C111. • Use the same version of uninstallation program as your current Nokia C110/C111 software. In Windows 2000 and NT 4.0, apply the Wired LAN profile before Tip: uninstalling the Nokia C110/C111.
  • Page 10 Click Start, select Programs and Nokia C110. Click Uninstall Nokia C110. A dialog box asks if you are sure you want to uninstall the program. Click In the Network dialog box, select Nokia C110/C111 Wireless LAN Card and click Remove. Click Close to close the Network dialog box.
