ADJUSTMENT (Service Adjstment) Precaution: When the set has been disassembled and repaired, be sure to place all the copper tapes and filters back into position to keep against unintended radiation. Serviceman mode This model is equipped with the serviceman mode for a repairman to get the information that is effective in servicing the set in the field.
  • Page 62 SH-D505 Service mode DTV stands for digital television broadcast. In analog broadcast, the worse the reception condition gets, the more noises and ghosts occur on the screen. In digital broadcast, on the other hand, there is no degraded images up to a certain level. Once the reception condition drops below a limit, however, both picture and sound are interrupted suddenly.
