Auger Belt
Toremove andreplace yoursnowthrower'saugerbelt, proceed asfollows:
I. Topreventspillage, r emove all fuel fromtank byrunningengineuntil it
stops.
2. Remove t he plasticbelt coveronthe front of the enginebyremoving thetwo
self-tapping screws. S eeFigure 28.
3. Loosen andremove the two boltsandflat washers securing the beltguide.

4. Rollthe augerbeltoffthe enginepulley.SeeFigure 30.
5. Carefully pivotthe snowthrowerupandforwardsothat it restsonthe auger
housing.
6. Remove t he framecoverfrom the underside of the snowthrowerby
removing fourself-tappingscrews whichsecure it. See Figure 31.
