3. Call barring

The call barring function enables you to block incoming and outgoing calls under certain conditions.
If you wish to use this function you must obtain a four-digit barring password from your network
operator. To do so, contact your network operator.
You can use the up/down keys [8] to select the following options:
1. Outgoing calls
Here you can bar all outgoing calls. You can choose between "1. All calls", "2. International calls" and "3.
International calls except to home PLMN". When you have saved your selected setting by pressing the call key [14]
the following options are available as described in the "1. Divert all voice calls" chapter on page 55: "1. Activate", "2.
Deactivate" and "3. Query status".
When activating or deactivating call barring, the four-digit barring password from your network operator must be
entered.
If all calls are barred no calls can be made from the mobile telephone, with the exception of
emergency calls.
2. Incoming calls
Here you can bar all incoming calls. You can choose between "1. All calls" (no calls can be received) and "2. When
roaming" (no calls can be received when the mobile phone is being used abroad).
When you have saved your selected setting by pressing the call key [14] the following options are available as
described in the "1. Divert all voice calls" chapter on page 55: "1. Activate", "2. Deactivate" and "3. Query status".
