Output Format Settings

The output format for the unit can be set to
"NTSC Area" or "PAL Area." Specify the output
format based on your region of use. The factory-
default setting is "NTSC Area."

Setting the output format

Configure the setting using the "Country" setting
in the OTHERS menu.
Turn the SEL/SET knob to select a setting value,
and press the knob to set the value.

Display the OTHERS menu, and select
"Country."
For details on menu operations, see "Basic
Menu Operations" (page 38).
The currently configured output format
appears.

Output signal types

The type of signals output from the unit will differ
depending on the "Country" setting in the
OTHERS menu (see page 41). The following
indicates the signals that are output.

Using genlock

Synchronization (genlock) is required if you want
to shoot with two or more this units, or combine
