    The Basics Top and Bottom Views 3.5mm Headset Jack USB/ Charging Port Microphone 3.5mm Headset Jack Allows you to plug in an optional headset for convenient, hands-free conversations.     The Basics Getting to Know the Home Screen The Home screen is your starting point to access all of the features on your phone using simple motions on the touchscreen. It’s comprised of multiple panels (swipe horizontally to switch). You can customize all of your Home screen panels with shortcuts icons, widgets, and other features.

From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Home screen settings > Select Home > EasyHome. The EasyHome setting displays the Home screen like a remote control device.

    The Basics Touchscreen Your touchscreen provides an excellent way to interact with and use your phone. With the touch of your finger, you can download and use available apps, make menu selections, and access data saved to your phone. The following terms are used for describing the different available actions using the touchscreen: Touch or tap A single finger touch selects items.

    The Basics Apps: How to View, Open, and Switch All of the apps on your phone, including any apps that you downloaded and installed from Play Store or other sources, are grouped together on the Apps screen, which you access from your Home screen. Press the Power/Lock Key or the Home Key to illuminate the touchscreen if it timed-out. To use Wi-Fi on your phone, you must connect to a wireless access point. Some access points are open and you can simply connect to them.

During a call, you can opt to use the Bluetooth headset or just the phone. When using the Bluetooth headset during a call, the Ongoing Call notification icon is blue in the Status Bar (the icon is green when using the phone).
