Making an ADSL connection

Double-click My Computer, Control
Panel, and then Network and Dial-up
Connections.

The Network and Dial-up Connections
window appears. Right-click on the
Local Area Connection for your ASUS
ADSL PCI NIC.

The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
window appears. Under the General
tab, enable Use the following IP
address. The default settings for IP
configurations will turn from gray to
clear. Enter in the IP address, Subnet
Mask, and Default Gateway supplied
by your ADSL service provider. Click
OK.

The Local Area Connection window
appears. Click on Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP), then click on Properties.
