LINE FREOUENCY SELECTOR SWITCH

Set the switch to the position corresponding to the power line
frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) used in your area. Remember that
if this switch is not set properly, the time display of the clock
function will be thrown out of sync.
lf you do not know what the power line frequency in your area
is, ask your dealer.
POWER OUTLETS
This timer is designed for audio applications. Make sure that
the total power consumption of the electrical equipment con-
nected to it is not more than 500 watts. Do not connect any
appliances such as a TV set which will cause an excessively
high level of current to flow through the timer when the power
switch is set to ON. For details on the power capacity of the
appliances which may be connected, turn to page 5.

Connecting the power cord to other cords or joining cords
together can cause fire and electric shocks. and thus is ex-
tremely dangerous.
o Take hold of the power plug itself when connecting and
disconnecting the power cord. Never perform these op-
erations with wet hands since you may receive an electric
shock,
.
Remember to disconnect the power plug from the outlet
when you do not intend to use the unit for a prolonged
oeriod of time.
P O W E R F A I L U R E W I N K I N G I N D I C A T I O N
When the timer's power plug is connected to, or disconnected
from, the household power outlet, "AM 12:00" or "0:00" will
wink on the time display.
lf this display is found flashing after you return home, it means
that there was a ternporary power failure while you were out.
