The sleep timer function and timer settings (ON/OFF times)
can be used in combination.
CONNECTIONS
Example: You go to bed at PM 10:00 while listening to music,
the music is switched off at PM 10:3O, you wake up the following
morning to music at AM 7:00 and you leave home at AM 8:00.

I As indicated in the figure, make sure that the total power
consumption of all the audio components connected to the
DT-5 does not exceed 500 W. For details on the power
consumption specifications, refer to the Operating Instruc-
tions of the components concerned.
I High levels of current are prone to flow through audio com-
ponents momentarily. For instance, even if the total power
consumption is 500 W, at these times the actual figure will
be nearly 1,000 W.
I Do not connect electrical appliances (such as TV sets or
power amplifiers with a power consumption of over 200 W)
in which high levels of current are prone to flow at the ins-
tant when the power switch is set to ON.
I Do not connect electrical appliances (such as irons,
heaters, air conditioners) whose power consumption ex-
ceeds the indicated value since this mav result in a fire or
malfunction.
