1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Remove the top cover
3. Remove the hard drive
4. If your model is an EliteDesk 800 or MP9, remove the secondary fan

5. Remove the drive cage
6. Remove the fan
7. Remove the heat sink
8. Remove the power light cover
9. Remove the solid-state drive
10. Remove the WLAN module
11. Remove the memory modules
12. Remove the expansion connector board
13. Remove the thermal sensor
14. Disconnect all cables from the system board, noting their location for reinstallation.
15. Remove the four Torx screws that secure the system board to the computer.
16. Slide the system board out of the computer.
