Using Wireless Telephone Headsets

Setting User Preferences

NEC Business Solutions Ltd. offers optional headsets for use in noisy
environments or if you need to have your hands free while talking on
the Wireless Telephone.
To use the headset, simply plug it into the jack on the bottom of the
Wireless Telephone. The headset is specially designed to work properly
with the MH120 Wireless Telephone. We do not recommend using other
headsets.
User preferences can be set through the vertical menus when the
Wireless Telephone is in standby mode (on, but not in use). Use the
following steps to set user preferences.
Place the Wireless Telephone in standby mode.
Step 1
Refer to
"Turning the Wireless Telephone On or Off" on page 2-2
information regarding turning on the telephone.
Press and briefly hold FCN to display user options.
Step 2
Check with your system administrator for specific features supported by your
Wireless Telephone.
Table 2-4
describes navigation tools that can be used when configuring
user preferences.

Selects the menu item or option.
Completes selection of the menu item or option.
Saves the entry.
Backspaces to allow editing of entry.
Cancels edit and returns to previous menu level.
Returns to previous menu level.
Exits the menu (at the top level).
Exits to standby state (from any level).
