When installing the Smart card, ensure that the gold contact area on the Smart card is facing downward and that the beveled edge of the Smart card is properly aligned with that of the Smart card slot.

    10 Text input In editing mode, press the # key to switch between text input modes. Entering English Letters (in Abc Mode) In Abc mode, press the Number keys labeled with the desired letter once to enter the first letter on the key, twice to enter the second letter on the key, and so on.
