Section 4 - Configuration - Router Mode
Choose L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) if your Internet Service Provider
(ISP) uses a L2TP connection. Your ISP will provide you with a username and
password.
L2TP Server IP Enter the L2TP server IP address provided by your ISP.
Address:
Username: Enter the username provided by your ISP.
Password: Enter the password provided by your ISP.
Reconnect Mode: Select either Always-on, On-Demand, or Manual.
Maximum Idle Enter a maximum idle time during which the Internet connection

is maintained during inactivity. To disable this feature, enable Auto-
reconnect.
Advanced Settings
Select Static IP if your ISP assigned you the IP address, subnet mask,
Address Mode:
gateway, and DNS server addresses. In most cases, select Dynamic IP.
Dynamic IP
Primary DNS Enter the primary DNS server IP address assigned by your ISP.
Server:
Secondary DNS
Enter the secondary DNS server IP address assigned by your ISP.
Server:
MTU: Maximum Transmission Unit - you may need to change the MTU for
optimal performance with your ISP. The recommended setting is Auto.
