00 1. DFP Pressure Motor does not
work, properly.
2. DFP Pressure Motor control
circuit does not work, properly.
3. Rotation from DFP Pressure
Motor is not normally transferred to
the DFP Adjustable Drive Shaft
that controls DFP Roller's position.
4. DFP Home Detector does not
work, correctly.

00 1. Scanning Glass (F) is dirty.
2. Light Unit (F) does not work
properly.
Check Point
1. Check the soldering condition of the parts
surrounding FPGA (IC0030 and IC0031).
2. Check the soldering condition of the DDR2
(IC0033 and IC0034).
3. Replace faulty parts or CONTROL Board.
1. Check the soldering condition of the parts
surrounding the ASIC (IC0035).
2. Check the soldering condition of the SDRAM
(IC0040 and IC0041).
3. Replace faulty parts or CONTROL Board.
1. Check the soldering condition of the parts
surrounding the Gate Array (IC0038).
2. Check the soldering condition of the
SDRAM(IC0042 to IC0043).
3. Replace faulty parts or CONTROL Board.
Refer to the 7th item on Classified Code U12.
Refer to the 8th item on Classified Code U12.
1. Check the ADF mechanism. (See Sec.6.)
2. Execute DFP Pressure Drive in Sec. 9.3.6
to check the ADF mechanism.
1. Execute Key/Sensor test in the Sec. 9.3.6
to check the detector condition.
2. Check whether the tip of the DFP Adjustable
Drive Shaft interrupts the detector.
3. Check the following connection and
soldering condition on each connector.
a. CN3002(DFP HOME SENSOR Board) to
CN2003 (USR RELAY Board)
b. CN2001 (USR RELAY Board) to CN1007
(CONTROL Board)
4. Check "DFP_HOME" signal.: 5 V (when the
tip of the DFP Adjustable Drive Shaft
interrupts IC3001 (DFP Home Sensor) on
the DFP HOME SENSOR Board.)
→ CN1007-2nd pin and IC0017-5th pin
5. Check the soldering condition of IC0017 on
the CONTROL Board and repair it.
6. Replace faulty parts or boards.
Clean the glass surface. (See 7.2.)
1. Execute CCD Level test in Sec.9.3.6 to
check the peak level.
2. Check that LED (F) lights during CCD Level
test.
3. Check the following connections and
soldering condition on each connector.
a. LED (F) Board to CN4007 (DRIVE Board)
b. CN4002 (DRIVE Board) to CN1002
(CONTROL Board)
4. Check the lamp control signals to the Lamp
Driver.
→ IC4009-1st pin: 10 V
→ CN4002-27th pin: 0 V (when lamp is ON)
5. Replace faulty parts or boards.
