Inspect fuel filter and replace if dirty. Refer to
Replacing Fuel Filter, page 28.

Re–install bowl to filter head. Make sure O–ring
is positioned properly between bowl mounting
nut and filter head.
5.
Open fuel shut–off above filter.
6.
Open bleed screw on filter mounting allowing
bowl to re–fill with fuel. Close bleed screw.

Checking Oil Level

1.
Park the machine on a level surface, lower the
loader arms and turn the ignition key to "OFF"
to stop the engine. Remove the key.

Clean around the oil dipstick (Fig. 3 & 4) so dirt
cannot fall into the filler hole and damage the
engine.
3.
Pull out the oil dipstick and wipe the metal end
clean.
4.
Slide the oil dipstick fully into the filler tube.
Pull the dipstick out and look at the metal end. If
oil level is low, slowly pour only enough oil into
the filler tube to raise the level to the "FULL"
mark.
IMPORTANT: Do not overfill the crankcase
with oil because the engine may be damaged.
