PROBLEM
Excessive black smoke from
exhaust (continued).
Excessive white smoke from
exhaust.
Machine does not drive.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
6. Excessive loading.
1. The engine temperature is
low.
2. The glow plugs are
inoperative.
3. The fuel injection nozzles are
faulty.
4. The injection pump timing is
incorrect.
5. Low compression.
1. Traction pump drive coupler
is loose or broken.
2. Hydro fluid level low.
3. Pump and/or wheel motor is
defective or damaged.
4. Control valve is defective or
damaged.
5. Relief valve is defective or
damaged.
6. Flow divider valve lever is in
9 o'clock position.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
6. Reduce load; use lower
ground speed.
1. Check the thermostat.
2. Check the fuse, glow plugs
and wiring.
3. Contact your Authorized
Service Dealer.
