Recording and playing on this unit Recording This unit uses the “SD Audio Format”, an audio standard set down by the SD Association, which uses superior copyright protection technology. ∫ Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) This is copyright-protection technology that encodes audio data to protect the rights of the producers of music, promote a healthy music industry, and protect the rights of the original purchaser of the music.
