Initially,set the refrigerator control at 5 and the freezer control at 5 and allow 12-24
hours for the temperatureto stabilize.
Severaladjustmentsmay be required.Adjust the controls one increment at a time,and
allow 12hours after each adjustment for the refrigerator to reach the temperatureyou
have set.
Settingthe controls to 0 stops cooling in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments
but doesnot shut off electrical power to the refrigerator.On some models,only the
refrigerator control has a 0 setting.
Touch pad controls
• Setting either control at 0 will automaticallyset the other control at O.Thezeros will
blink until you set the controls.
• If both controls are set at 0 and either COLDER pad is pressed,the controls will
automaticallyreset to 5.
Control s ettings will varybasedonpersonalpreferences, u sageandoperating
conditions andmay requiremorethanone adjustment.
NOTE." O nsomemodels, t herefrigerator i s shipped with protective film covering thetemperature
controls. I f this film wasnotremoved duringinstallation, r emove it now.

How it Works
TurboCool rapidly cools file refligermor
compamnent in order m more quickly
cool foods. Use rurboCoolwhenadding a
laxge amount of food to the refrigerator
compartment, put0ng away foods after they
have been sitting out at room temperature
or when putting awaywam:t leftovers. It can
also be used if the refrigerator has been
without power for an exmnded period.
Once acOvamd, the compressor will mrn on
immediately and the fans will cycle on and
off at high speed as needed for eight horns.

approximately 34°F (1°C), then it will cycle
on and off to maintain this set0ng. After 8
hours, or if
rurboCool
is pressed again, the
refligeramr compartment will return m
the original set0ng.
How to Use
Press TurboCool.The TurboCool
indicator light will come on; however;
the refligerator temperature display
will still show the current set0ng.
After TurboCoolis complete, the TurboCool
indicator light will go out.
NOTES: The refligeramr mmperamre
