By using Wireless Router and Access Point
Installation Checklist:
Step 1: Confirm the computer has been connected to network. Make sure that LAN cable has
been connected with printer and wireless router
Step 2: Check the SSID (Network Name) and Passphrase (Security key and password).
Step 3: Install the printer driver by Infrastructure mode
Step 4: Print Status Sheet
Before installation, please check the following information:
1.
SSID (network name)
2.
Type of Security Setting
Note: The printer supports WEP-64bit、WEP-128bit、WPA-PSK TKIP or WPA-PSK
AES only.

  • Page 5 (5) Select “Network”, click on “Next” (6) Before starting the installation, please check the connection between access point and printer again. If the printer has not connected, please refer to Step 1-2. If the printer is connected, please click “Next”.
  • Page 6 (7) Recommend setting to “Allow installation of network software”. Blocking an installation may cause installation failure. (8) Select “Setup this printer for the first time”, please click “Next”.
  • Page 7 (9) Select “Method 1: Connect via a router (or access point or hubs), please click “Next”. (10) Click “Unblock the program”...
  • Page 8 (11) Select the printer from the list, please click “Next”. (12) Select “Wireless”, and click “Next”.
  • Page 9 (13) Select the correct SSID, click “Next”. If you want to enter the SSID manually, please click “Manually Enter Network Name”, then click “Next” (14) Please enter the same WEP key or WPA passphrase as used for your access point or wireless router.
  • Page 10 (For WEP Security settings) (15) Recommend using “Auto DHCP”, click “Next”.
  • Page 11 (16) Please confirm network setting, and then click “Next”. (17) Please confirm network setting, and then click “Next”. (Please unplug the LAN cable, otherwise it will cause connection failure)
  • Page 12 (18) If the printer connects successfully, please click “Next” (19) Suggest using the printer name, click “Next”.
  • Page 13 (20) If click “Yes”, Test Page can be printed (21) If the self test can be printed, all installation is completed.
  • Page 14 Step 4: Print Status Sheet (1) Insert the paper on Auto Sheet Feeder (2) Press < > button，the network status sheet can be printed (3) Suggest keeping this network status sheet, to monitor the network setting.
