Take the foil out of the battery
compartment 5, Fig. 2.

Place the scales on a level, hard and dry
surface.
Two functions can be selected with these
scales:
- Weighing function only or
- Measurement of weight, body fat and water
content (input personal date).

Switch on the scales by tapping the middle
of the upper side.

Wait until is indicated on the display 1.

Step onto the scales and stand still until the
bar graph on the display 1 stops moving.
Distribute your weight evenly on both legs.
The measurement can now be read off. If the
setting is in kg, the scales display the weight
in 100 g steps.
The scales automatically switch off after the
measuring process.

The scales feature 10 memory locations into
which personal data such as size, age and sex
are input.

Note: If no button is pressed within 30 sec.
during programming, the scales automatically
switch off. If the + or button 2 is held down,
the numerical sequence is accelerated.

To program the scales, place them on
a level surface.

Press the Set button 4. The setting for the
memory location flashes, e.g. M4.

Select a memory location, e.g. M2, with the
+ or button 2.

Press the Set button 4 to save the setting.
The settings for size, age and sex light up.

The setting for size flashes. Input size with
the + or button 2.

Press the Set button 4 to save the setting.
The setting for age flashes.
S
Input age (10-99) with the + or button 2.

Press the Set button 4 to save the setting.
The or symbol flashes.

Press the Set button 4 to save the setting.
The programmed memory location, e.g. M2,
flashes.
If no further memory location is now input,
the scales automatically switch off. To assign
other memory locations, repeat the Inputting
personal data process.
