• [Recording]: Install only the recording server onto
the unit. Select this when configuring a system with
multiple Network Video Recorders.
If you selected [All-In-One], proceed to the
"Installation in all-in-one mode" section. If you
selected [Recording], proceed to the "Installation in
recording mode" section.
Installation in all-in-one mode

Copy the license file acquired in the "Registering the
Software License Code (SLC) and Acquiring the
License File" procedure to a USB flash memory
device.

Connect the USB flash memory device to the unit.

Click [Browse...].

Select the software license file stored on the USB
flash memory device, and click [Open].

Click [Next].

Click [Next] again.

Click [Finish].
Installation in recording mode

Enter the IP address, user name, and password for the
management server, and click [Next].
Notes
• Configure the user name as follows.
<IP address of the computer on which the
management server is installed>\<user name>
• If an error message appears, check that the time
settings on the management server and the unit are
the same.

Click [Setup].
The recording server installation dialog box appears.

Select the language to use for the installer, and click
[Continue].

Click [Typical].

Enter the recording server name and management
server's IP address, and click [Continue].
Note
The path specified in [Media database] will be
changed to the path for the RAID drive after the
RAID settings are configured, so leave the default
path unchanged for now.

Select the language to use for the Network Video
Recorders under [Product language], and click
[Install].
Caution
Do not change the file location. Changing this setting
may result in unstable operation.

Click [Close].
Installation of the recording server will complete.

Click [Finish].
Setup Wizard closes.
Configuring the Recording Disk
Settings
Configure a recording disk for the internal HDDs to be
used as the storage destination for recorded video,
archives, and exported data. To configure the recording
disk, start by creating a disk array using RAID
