Your digital Bath and roomThermometer SCH550

The Philips AVENT digital bath and room thermometer allows you to
conveniently determine the ideal temperature of your baby's bath or
room. Your baby can also play with this product safely, since the
thermometer is designed to comply with all EU and USA toy-safety
standards.
Your baby will feel most comfortable in bath if the water temperature is
between 97,7°F and 100,4°F . A temperature of 102°F and above is too
hot and your baby could get burned! At a room temperature of about
64°F babies feel most comfortable when sleeping.
Please read this guide carefully before using the product. Please keep this
guide and the product packaging, since they contain important
information.

This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding
electromagnetic fields (EMF). If handled properly and according to the
instructions in this user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on

Using your digital bath and room thermometer
The digital bath and room thermometer is always ready for use. Just let it
float in the water or let it sit on a shelf in baby's room.
NOTE:

Mix the water thoroughly before measuring the water temperature.

Put the thermometer in the tub while filling it.This will ensure a fast
and accurate reading of the water temperature.

Stir the water while taking the temperature measurement.
After about 2 years the batteries may go flat. You can then replace the
batteries.

Push the measurement unit out of the rubber housing

Remove the battery housing cover

Carefully remove the empty batteries with a pair of tweezers
