Specify the distance from the front left
speaker to your listening position using

then press ENTER.

Use
each channel in turn, pressing ENTER to go
to the next channel when you're done.
Listen to the reference channel and use it to
measure the target channel. Stand facing the
two speakers with your arms outstretched
pointing at each speaker. Try to make the two
tones sound as if they are arriving simulta-
neously at a position slightly in front of you
and between your arm span.
The test tone for channel delay is output in the
same order as step 5:

After you have completed all the channels in
your speaker setup, the volume level returns
to normal and COMPLETE, then RESUME
shows in the display.
• Using the MCACC system to set up your
speaker system will overwrite any
previous settings you had for the
STANDARD or ADVANCED SURROUND
modes.

In addition to the MCACC setup, you can also
set relative channel levels from the listening
position using the method below. Using CH
SELECT (see tip below), it is also possible to
set separate channel levels for each of the
listening modes.
