3: Preventing the
TV from
toppling over

Install the machine screws* (M4, not
supplied) into the screw holes of the TV
and tie with a strong cord (not
supplied).

Install a wood screw* (not supplied) in
the TV stand. Then, tie the strong cord
to the wood screw.
* TV securing accessories package (sold separately)

• Please place the TV set on a stable, level
surface, if place on an unstable place, it may
cause TV set to topple over, fall down, and
cause injuries to people.
• Install the TV so that the TV's Table-Top Stand
does not protrude out from the TV stand (not
supplied). If the Table-Top Stand protrudes out
from the TV stand, it may cause the TV set to
topple over, fall down, and cause injuries to
people.


• For safety reasons, recommend to use securing
method as illustrated. Regarding the securing
accessories, it is recommended to buy from
those sold in market or buy the TV securing
accessories package which is sold separately
by Sony. If required, please contact Sony
customer service centre for help. Please refer
"after sales service website" for details (supplied
leaflet).
The length of the M4 machine screw
differs depending on the cord diameter.
