Remove the spark plug to
check for sparks.
Are sparks generated?
No
Yes
Return the spark plug
and plug cap to the
original positions, and
then perform proper
startup operation.
Is the tip of the spark plug
wet with fuel?
No
Yes
Is the spark plug wet due
to excessive supply of
fuel?
Yes
No
